Just found a web site that will help all we our eating habits, dieting and overall nutrition for our familes. It is called: www.myfitnesspal.com. This is a free web site that will never ask for your credit card and has all kinds of resources you need to maintain a great body. The best thing I saw was the free calorie counter”>free calorie counter! This handy tool allows you to enter the type of exercise your performed from their extensive list of common and some rare exercises. I clicked on “W” and found water polo, white water rafting along with walking. But they go further and include, walking up hill downhill, two miles, three miles etc.

Another resource they have allows you find the content of common foods. I put in french fries and a list of 10 different types appeared to choose from. It included McDonalds, Frozen fries, shake and bake etc. Then in the window next to it you find the “calories in my food” itemized list, including total calories, fat and total carbs. If you join, which is all of your email and password which is never sold or rented, then you can keep track of your exercies meals etc. There are Google ads, but they are put in a nice to read and not where you can accidentally click on them.

Overall, this is a very professional web site which will help us make better food choices and lose weight the healthy way.

Why is it that some of the very best films can not get into more theaters and reach a broad audience across the States. Here we rented Sweet Land with Elizabeth Reaser from Greys Anatomy etc and loved it. Finally, a movie that without all the puff about real love and dedication. Sure its about a mail order bride in the 20’s, but she had time to back out. In fact, the whole movie is the struggle of the bride obtaining her citizenship and hence be married to the hard working Norweigen. The movie touches on our biases of people from other lands to yet another banker foreclosing on yet another farm not making enough to pay the mortgage. Wow has Ned Beatty grown old yet still very effective. The budget was only a million and had they only found a distributer that had the muscle to put it in more theaters.
